Hola Hello and thank you for checking out my Caricature Wedding Entertainment which this time was in Northampton for Ana-Maria & Daniel. It was my first Romainian Wedding and it was interesting to see some differences from the usual UK style weddings.
Below are a few photos I took on the night:
Ana-Maria & Daniel’s first dance was in a foot a smoke… I had just finished caricaturing someone and I looked up to suddenly see the room engulfed in smoke! …nice effect!
Then there were these dances…..
…and then THIS dancing. Is this really traditional Romanian Wedding celebration dancing? It feels a bit Brazilian to me (but what would I know?)
I was SO expecting a little girl to get wacked in the head by one of these stick dancers. …but alas – no £250 (or however much is it now) for me from You’ve Been Framed’. haha!’
So, yeah…. there’s a Romanian Wedding for you. I’m not sure how much of that is tradition and how much is just for fun but interesting all the same.
